Distant Reading at the German Studies Association Conference

Here are details on a presentation I gave at the 2010 German Studies Association conference in Washington, D.C. about a week ago.

The paper's titled "Models, Morphology, and Moretti's Sociology of Literary Forms." The panel was titled: "Graphs? Maps? Trees? New Directions in the Sociology of Literature." The other participants were: Andrew Piper, Matthew Erlin, and commentator Tobias Boes. As the panel title hints, "distant reading" and Moretti's book, Maps, Graphs, Trees were common reference points.

Andrew Piper has posted a summary of the panel on his blog.
